Imperial Fists Paint Recipe

Since the Stormtalon represents the end of my Imperial Fists for a little while, I figured I'd better write down the recipe.

All air paints are Vallejo Game Air or Model Air.

1. Prime with White Primer
2. Base with Gold Yellow
3. Shade with a mix of Gold Yellow and Burnt Umber
4. Zenithal pre-highlight with Dead White
5. Highlight over the white with Moon Yellow
6. Gloss varnish
7. Pin wash with Winsor and Newton oil Burnt Umber - the oil wash over the gloss varnish helps the pin wash run well.
8. Leave oil wash for about 15 minutes then clean up with a cotton bud
9. Matt varnish
